Pay What You Can Story
Women support women
From the people who make our gowns to the photographers who create with them, many in our community are women balancing family and work. PWYC began as a way to keep a door open during tight-budget moments—without hurting sustainability—so more creations can keep happening.
Why we started PWYC
Some seasons feel easier, some feel tight. We often hear: “I love it, but my budget is limited right now.” At the same time, we care about the long-term health of every woman and team involved in this work. PWYC tries to hold both: care for people and care for the ongoing work.
How it works (simple)
We offer three price options. Choose what fits your situation; quality and service are the same for all.
Accessible Price (minimum): If money feels tight right now
Standard Price: choose this if it fits your budget.
Supportive Price: choose this if you’re able to help us sustain craftsmanship and team growth, and to keep offering the Accessible Price to those who need it.
Choosing Supportive/Standard quietly lays a brick for someone else.
Choosing Accessible—please order with dignity and ease.
Who it's for
Photographers building or rebuilding a client closet.
Creatives in a transition or a tight month.
Clients who want a meaningful shoot but have a limited budget.
What it isn't
Not bargaining below the Accessible (minimum) price.
Not a permanent price for all items, all the time.
Not a big-sale trick. To stay healthy, we rotate a small selection.
Our boundaries
Accessible Price (minimum) = the lowest we can go. We can’t go lower.
PWYC items rotate every 2–3 weeks based on inventory and production schedule.
Same craftsmanship, service, and packaging at any price tier.
FAQ (short)
Q: Can you go lower than the minimum?
A: No. Accessible is already our maximum sustainable support.
Q: Will my favorite gown be in every round?
A: Not always. We rotate by stock and schedule; you can suggest items for future rounds.
Q: Does quality change at the Accessible price?
A: No. Quality and service are the same.
Q: How can I support the project?
A: When you can, choose Supportive/Standard, or share PWYC with someone who may need it.
Respect & dignity
We believe everyone deserves to be seen, treated kindly, and proud of their choices. If PWYC helps your creation continue—or accompanies a mom-to-be, letting this moment be seen and remembered, leaving a keepsake for this special chapter—that is exactly why it exists.
